fuel pump issues

    I have a 94 ranger 2.3 keep having to replace fuel pump I am on like the 4th one it will run fine 4 a couple of weeks then it slowly starts to cut out and lose power I have pulled tank cleaned it and replaced with new gas.

    Are you having codes go off? Are you 100% positive its the pump itself?

    brand new fuel filter also replaced fuel lines it will run fine when i put in a new pump for about two weeks or so then it starts backfiring losing power until i replace pump again

    Fuel pump relay !!!! Yessiree Bob !!!

    I had the same problem in my truck as well. Had no fuel in the lines, and the fuel pump had no noise. Checked the power to the pump and it had no power. Charge light was on. Replaced the regulator fuss and never had another problem since Hope this helps
