What is the power steering pump removal procedure on a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT?

Just watched like the first minute of that video.
    Man, really Ford?
Remove the pulley so the pump can be removed?
Why not just build the bracket as a slot, then you could skip that step altogether.
...of course, what do I expect when you gotta split the intake just to change spark plugs. o_O

    Isn't that pulley pressed on?
You'll need a pulley puller, plain and simple.
    DO NOT APPLY HEAT.
If you're using a puller and its being stubborn, you can shock it by rapping on the end of the bolt used to pull the pulley....hopefully you have enough room to do that.

It has a hex bolt on it I have a puller that is threaded, I can’t get the hex bolt off

You mean a nut? I've never heard of a PS pump with the pulley held on by a bolt.
Anyway, whichever, can you get a rattle gun down there? That + 100 psi air pressure would be the easy solution.
Otherwise, wrap the belt around the pulley and hold onto the excess, then use the longest breaker bar you can get your hand on. I have a Snap-On one that's about 2.5-3 feet long.
Works like a champ, but can be cumbersome to position. Might go easier if you had a friend to help you.

...and remember, "lefty loosey, righty tighty"...unless, of course, its left handed thread. ;)

I got it off it looked like it had a hex bolt but it was part of the shaft. Now I can’t get system working I had allot of air bubbles come out but now I start engine and steering wheel takes off and then locks up humming the fluid level raises up some as I turn wheel with engine off and wheels off ground

You put the pulley on backwards. Pull it off and flip it around, everything will be fine.

    ...KIDDING! Just kidding!

Actually it sounds like you've got some air in there. Jack the front wheels off the ground and turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock a few times with the engine off.
Remember to put the cap back on the pump before you do that or you'll have PS fluid al over the ground. Once you burp some air out, you can start it and keep turning the wheel to burp the remaining air,
