I have a 1997 ranger xlt. All of the lights work except for 5 of the 6 illumination bulbs behind the dash. Only 1 works and I just replaced them today the bulbs are brand new and the fuses are good. Anybody got any ideas?

Did you replace them with standard 194 bulbs (incandescent) or did you use LED bulbs? Most LED bulbs are polarity specific, meaning they will only work when inserted positive (anode) to the positive 12+ volts of the truck.

They're led' s but the thing is the stock bulbs were doing the same thing.

Ah, okay. I would take the one working bulb and move it to a different location and see if the "good" light follows. If not, most likely the circuit board on the back of the cluster is bad. Another possibility is the sockets aren't making contact. You can bend the little contacts out a bit if that is the case. While you are in there, ensure the contact surfaces are all clean and bright... no oxidation or corrosion.
