So I found someone within 2 hours of my house that has a 99 2.5 but it's and automatic! I would assume the ecm would work, with the only difference is the transmission! Any input?

I've read about auto to manual swaps. By what I've read, the computer should work as long as pinouts/connectors are the same. The only issue I'd see if everything matches up is the money light coming on for lack of tranny shift and lockout solenoids.
