My 2003 Ford Ranger Automate Transmission I was on my way home today stalled out at a stop light. I restarted it in neutral started right up but as soon as I put it into drive or reverse it would die. This happened several times. Got stranded for 10minutes till I was able to push it down a small hill. I left the engine run in neutral jumped in and was able to get it to stay running in drive. Was able to get almost all the way home when it started acting normal again? It felt like the transmission was locked up in high gear. Anyone got any ideas.
