Good Morning Teams and forum members, As suggested in subject, i'm having an issue with my 93 Ford Ranger. I can go start my truck right now, and it will idle just fine. However, once i put it into first gear and, as normal, start to depress clutch and take off, the truck dies and will not start back up for around 20-30 minutes. Now, our other scenario, back to cold startup and normal idle, I can keep the RPM's high enough on takeoff coming out of first gear, and that does keep the truck from dying. The truck will run just fine until we come to a stop sign and have to come to a complete stop again and return to first gear. From here you must hope you can get going out of first again without the truck dying. Any suggestions as to why this would be occurring? Thank You in Advance!
