I'm a new member to the forum. I have a 02 ranger and getting ready to swap in a fresh back half. In one thread a member mentioned dropping the drive shaft and rolling out the rear end. I was thinking I wouldn't touch the drive shaft or rear end. I'd have the front half fully supported and all 4 wheels chocked. I'd just slide the old frame section out and slide the new frame section into place, and bolt everything back up. Am I missing something? Thanks so much. Jim

p.s. anyone who has done this if you can tell me of your experience in the swap I'd be really interested and appreciative. ...particulary how you addressed the disassembly and reassembly of the leaf springs. Thanks guys!
