Hey guys, I am having an issue with my rear window leaking. I have sealed the top of the black border seal, and thought that would fix it. Now I have to seal the bottom where it meets the actual window? Anyone else have this issue?

Take you about an hour, but you would benefit from removing and reinstalling the window and resealing it. Its held in by bolts.

Also, check the Third Brake Light, the gaskets go bad and the leak down around the rear window and you think it is the window.

Thanks guys, I sealed the window up with window sealant and... bam still leaking. I am about to step outside and check out the 3rd brake light. That was my next guess. The light looks pretty old and faded as well, so I may need a new one anyways to make her look purty. ;)

It was the 3rd brake light. Looks like the seal was replaced, but they kept the plastic wrapper on so it was not sticking. I peeled it off revealing the gummy shizz, and it sealed it all the way. I was starting to chit myself over this.

I had rhe same exact problem as all of you. Except mine ruined $2000 worth of amps and stereo equipment. I used RTV around the black window trim and that did NOTHING. so i went to home depot or lowes and bought legit weather stripping (1/2in thick) and used that around the 3rd brake light. So far so good knock on wood. I even drenched it with a water hose to male sure. Its definitely that damn shitty 3rd brake light guys.

I'll have to try that. I siliconed the seal, and it still leaked. I bought a rear window visor and still leaked.
