So I've been messing with this since day one. I've had for 2 months now and can't figure it out. I have cleaned maf changed coil packs plugs wires. I've taken fuel pressure at rail came out with 30 psi running.

Down to what's wrong. Happens in every gear except first. But at lower rpms I and at more than 30% throttle I get a real bad hesitation sputter jerk. Gets worse with increase with more throttle being given. I'm lost and need help

    Idle air control.

    What year truck?

It sounds to me like a fuel pump issue.

1997. My old votech teacher said according to his tech program, it's a fuel related issue. Hence why I checked fuel pressure

The iac is on the back of the intake manifold. 2 studs hold it on.

I believe your pump is going out and not supplying enough fuel under load.

I was thinking same think as well. But why would it clear up after it gets into higher rpms?

And after your spinning so fast. The engine harmonics and balance will make it feel like its gone. But while at low speeds the engine is not turning fast enough and you cab really tell when it misses

It gets worse until a certain point. I don't know where in the rpm range it clears up, but it clears up
