Just a heads up for anyone who reads this in the future...I just did lower balljoints in my 03 2wd w torsion bars.
DO NOT get the MOOG problem solver lower balljoints if this is first or second time someone is changing lower balljoints on your truck..
The MOOG prob solver lowers are slightly larger diameter to compensate for multiple balljoint changes in the same control arm. They are a royal BIATCH to force into the control arms on your first balljoint change. I needed a balljoint press, a 5 lb Hammer and a floor jack.
Hmm.....that's odd. That's all I've ever ran on mine ever since I replaced the factory ones at 60k or so during my lift install. Moog #K8695T (Problem Solver). They went in beautifully and the unplanned replacement of one last year was a breeze as well. All with the same factory LCA's.
EDIT: I see Moog offers two lower balljoints for torsion bar trucks....one is the K8695T and the other is K8695T006. Both Problem Solver line products. The keynotes list that it is an oversize ball joint. Sounds like you got the wrong joints.
