Just joined the forum today. Spent about 5 hours today turning my 60/40 seat into a pair of regular buckets--a little metal work, a little sewing with some fishing line and I'm ready for a set of regular seat covers.

    Seat Mod

First pic is the metal that I cut off the seat--the second is the foam I removed and the last is the finished seat. I used rivets to fasten the material to the frame and fishing line to sew up the seam on the corner--all together it took around 5 hours to complete and once I install my new seat covers you won't be able to tell they aren't factory.

Here's what I've done so far. Took the trim pieces off the outside of the cab and applied a generous amount of sealant and then reinstalled them. Took the cross member out that the old dome light attached to. Roughed up the cab roof on the inside. Cut out a section of foam board and installed it using 3M window weld which is now setting up. I also filled in a lot of the empty cavities with spray foam and installed blue led lights on the kick panels.
