Scrapped two cars w it.. just did one today and I was at something like 7500 lbs on the scale with the ranger, dolly, and junk car.. she sure as hell didn't like stopping but, did the damn job..
I'll get actual numbers in the morning once I get the paperwork out of the truck..

My '57 F100 with the beds fully loaded, and hauled 1 ton of scrap steel to the recycling center.

I have noticed with all my 4.0 rangers that the more you load them down the better that gas mileage.

I thought this thread was dead lol. Well the biggest thing Iv still towed is a medium sized tractor (dunno weight) on a 800 lb trailer w/ shrubbery to go with it! The people at the local brush dump looked at me kinda funny when I rolled up with a tractor lol. I had to back it off to get the shrubs off that I ran over to keep from blowin off. Make sense?!

So far, and 18' tandem axle trailer with 4' walls loaded with anything from furniture to mulch. Then last week I pulled my civic home, I'll be towing it again next month when I get it out of the paint shop.

I towed with my 03 ranger 3.0 edge 2wd for the first time today. Not sure how much it weighed. Loaded trailer filled with brush, compost, leaves, logs and log in the bed.

Anyone want 14 year old logs? :D

The largest things i moved was a full sized hotsy power washer loaded with a forklift plus 20 bags of cement my mud flaps would hit the floor with any tiny bump but my ranger moves it NO PROBLEM

I tow alot with my truck. I put about 2000 miles on it a year and the only time its driven is for work. I pulled a international truck that weighed 18000 lbs out of the mud on a hill. It was buried to the axles. A 1965 cadillac a 10000 lb tanker trailer. Boats firewood trees scrap stumps quads and whatever else can be strapped to it. I once lulled a 40 ft tree a mile home for firewood. The cops folled me because I removed from the blocking road. I just used a chain.. Oh my ranger is a 1991 4.0 liter stick. I also have a 1994 explorer. I love the second gen ranger 1st gen explorer style
