Well as most of you know I've been looking for a jeep for a while now. I found my jeep! It's a 2000 Cherokee sport with 79k on it. It runs great, it needs a few things but nothing a junkyard can't fix. View attachment 1950

yup it has the 4.0 which is so awesome. it is so much more powerful than my truck. i went offroading for the first time this week but i ran into a big problem. i started overheating in the park than when i got out and on the way home. i got a huge coolant leak and lost all my coolant. so i cant drive it till i fix it.

i fixed my jeep it had a bad coolant, a bad radiator cap, and a clog in the radiator hose that flushed out when i flushed the system. i will be trading my friend my stock wheels for some black cragar steelies. today i finished fixing my coolant issue and did a oil change from hell. my oil filter was put on extremely tight. i snapped one oil filter wrench and bent another one to the point i couldnt use it. i eventually got it off my hammering a screw driver into it multiple times and using an end cap oil filter wrench to get it off.

well i had more over heating issues with my jeep and i was developing a squeal on start up and while it idling. i took it to my teacher and he said the water was going bad. so i took it to the mechanic and had him do fan clutch, t stat, water pump, belt, and idler pulley. it still squeaks on start up but i think thats because the belt has stretched some. i have done some minor upgrades to the jeep. i have my pioneer head unit in it with some kicker cs speakers in the back. this weekend i will be bed lining my bumpers and next week ill fab up a cb antenna mount.

i thought i would give you guys an update on my jeep. this thing has turned into quite the money pit. i had to replace the radiator on it and i started noticing signs of a head gasket going bad so that has to be done soon. today i replaced my a/c compressor because my other one locked up. tomorrow ill do my drier. on Sunday i plan on doing my back differential because it is starting get wet around the seal. once i get up to school i plan to install a 3 in lift with 31 in tires and either make or get custom bumpers and sliders. i also got all 4 of my speakers working by running new wire to the drivers side front speaker and i came up an idea to mount my mechanic tool set against my wall so it will take up less space in my trunk.
