1996 Ranger from auto to manual Trans

    I changed My 1996 Ranger 2.3 From A Automatic transmission To A 5 Speed manual transmission. everything mechanical is done Can anyone tell me what i have to change on wiring harness from the transmission Thanks

    Me thinks the new trans will need the wiring sensors from a 5 speed car/truck.
    Lack of a neutral safety switch connection may prevent the starter from spinning. Even the ECM may need to be used from the 5 speed donor. The auto trans also had a safety switch. Having the correct wiring factory manual will be a plus. If ya cannot find a wiring guide, post again any problems. Frank

    Thanks For Your Help I am Trying to Find the short wiring harness for the 5 speed no luck yet
