allrighty my brother is looking for some new seats his old ranger seats are worn out really bad and make his driveing experince really horrible. so i have my eye on this set of black mustang seats that i wont to show him i told him about tham at cfc and he is interrested they are black sn95 seats and there only 25 dollers a seat. so what i need to know will a sn95 mustang seat bolt right into a 98 ford ranger extended cab? any help will be great thanks!! :)

I think for your best answewr on this would be drppdyllwrnger. He is the guru for this type of mod and I believe he made a set for Hurley. You may have to swap the tracks if I remember correctly but double check with him.

yes, they can be made to work. you will need a set of 93-7 ext cab cab ranger seat tracks, or even 95-01 explorer seat tracks. once you have those, then they will be pretty much bolt in. might have to trim a hole a little to get the bolts to line up.

if you go the explorer track route, make sure you get the manual tracks. i think the power tracks could be made to work if the mustang seat was power. i've been thinking lately about trying to make a pair of power mustang seats for an ext cab. it would be a matter of finding the right wiring harness and switches, etc.

the explorer, gen 3 ranger, and mustang all are simple 4 bolts to get the tracks off. they will all swap around without any mods. then it's pretty much bolting into the truck.
