I recently bought an 06 Ford Ranger Sport (3.0L) & I'm looking into lifting it, as well as buying new rims & tires. It's my first truck so I don't want to go too big, but I want it to be one of those trucks you see going down the road & you're just like "damn..."

It's all white with the bolt style fender flares, baby Mickey Thompson's that really aren't MT's but they look like miniatures, & whatever tires Autoway put on it.

I was thinking about 33-35 inch tires on 15-18 inch rims, 10.5 wide. I am going with some kind of black rims (know of any specific brands/styles that look good on rangers?)

I'm clueless on whether to do a suspension, spindle, or body lift (brand as well). I don't know much about the spindle kit but I definitely don't like how the body kit leaves the undercarriage hanging out.

Any tips or opinions would be helpful :)

I think the best place to start is to know your budget. There are many options for different price ranges. ;)

I'm looking to spend no more than $8000 by the time I'm done with all mods.

If I put new gears in it, does that change gas mileage or anything?
