  1. Alright I know its gonna be hard to tell from this picture but do yall think the damage to this truck would be enough to cause any major damage to the frame of the truck...this is the only picture of the damage I have

nah i dont think it would looks like it just got the door rocker panel and maybe the fender as far as the frame it doesnt look like anything has been done to it other than coating with some sort of undercoating. but thats my opinion....

I think you're good man. From the pics, it looks good. My truck is a rebuilt total, and my frame didnt look that good appearance wise. If the hit was under the truck to do the damage like landing on a rock, I would worry, but the pic looks like a side hit so from what I can see the damage was contained to the body itself

yeah the truck was in a side impact accident and the guy replaced the doors with factory doors. He is asking $12,000 which is a hell of a deal on a FX4!!! I drove the truck and it does pull to that side but that could just be a alignment issue or low tire pressure. I just want some opinions before I decide to buy the truck

Carfax wasn't good. Probably not gonna take the risk and try to find a better truck. I just wanted some other opinions on the truck.

I know you are thinking Car Fax but the body damage isn’t bad.
Must have had more damage underneath than you could see.
From the pic I would be more worried about the Door Frame than the chassis.
Wouldn’t want to pass up the FX4 if the truck is OK.

If possible craw under the truck or get it on a lift and see what happened in the accident.

The pulling to the side, yes alignment, yes tire pressure, check them to see and re-test drive it.

Also, if you and your mechanic can not find any major damage and the tire pressure fixes the pulling to the left, then make a low ball price based on the Car Fax.
Also, what kind of warranty is being offered, should be at least 90 days and maybe a "buy back" if completely not satisfied.

    Luck on the hunt.

I crawled under the truck and looked for anything showing it had been in a accident and didnt see anything but I am not expert lol. The owner restores Rangers and offered me a warranty on the truck that if anything were to go wrong with it at any time he would fix it, Id have to get that in writing of course. But I think Im just gonna hang on to my Ranger for now, Im not quite ready to let her go and am not in the best financial position right now to be taking a risk on a wreaked truck.
