2005 ranger 4.0 v6, gutted cat and no muffler. Planning on a tuner, havent decided which, afe intake and would like some input on what headers have worked for everyone else, and which ones to stay away from. Which would be better, cat4ward or shorty. Some tips and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. And since im on the subject, who is running a tuner that increased both power and mileage. Im not looking to turn this truck into a loud truck or performance truck, just want some mileage and power back into it since im running larger, heavier tires.

I personally love my Hedman steel headers. They're cheap, sound great, flow amazing, and are easy to install. I paid $275 for them WITH a new y-pipe.

I currently have JBA SS. I had Headman steel. The Headman headers rusted up real quick. So my choice would be the JBA or any make that is ceramic or Stainless.
