Cool dude, looks like it works well..

But christ, put a roll on/spray on kit in your bed. It looks like it hurts lol

  4. looks heavy duty too, so no worries bending when hitting tree branches or cacti

heres and update on it, added an 90 extension to the coax, and a spring, and the plate i have on it added some more ground to it, i can make the mount for people who want them

you can also mount it to the rear bumper using a mirror mount for rigs. watch grounding ants with some ants grounding them will caused a feed to the radio and burn your finals out which for none radio techs is what transmitts and recieves. if you look at ant mounts the piece where the coax hooks( the piece going thru the mount) and the ant screws to. you will notice it has a nylon spacer to keep it from grounding.

also would love to hear what radios some of you are running. me i am running a connex 3300 super peaked and tuned witha k40 on a mag mount at the time cant decide what car jeep or truck i want it on full time as i never seem to drive the same car more than a couple days....lol....

also for those installing or those already done. watch the extra coax. try and stay as close the the length you need ie dont buy an 18ft coax if you only need 6 ft buy the ft. also most cb shops can make you a coax to the length you need. should you have extra coax do not coil it the mess up your swrs snake it strech it around somewhere.

or i dont want to drill into the truck at all hence why i made this mount, and its all set up and works great, and youve send the extra coax thing like 20 times aready, no need to put it on every thread

kool alittle radio info a 29 can be modded up to be a big great sounding radio with good power output some great out of box radios i know of are the galaxy series 33,44,55,99,98 or the new 959 and 979 also connex 3300 and 4400 cobra 148gt the old general lees and grants. most cb shops will have these on stock also a must for upgrades is a good mic a rk56 or asctic mic are the most popular with cb users
