    Greetings,

    I have 1999 Ranger XLT 4-door 2WD 3.0L Flex Fuel 5-speed. 175,000 miles.
I really like my truck, but my oil pump gave out and my motor is seized :(. I suspect it’s a rod bearing, but regardless, I'm looking at $2000-$2500 to repair. I'm leaning toward selling the truck and just getting an older (2001-2008) used Ranger and paying cash. (Just bought a new Flex for the wife and don't want another payment right away). The truck is in really good condition other than the motor, and I’m wondering what it might be worth?
    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Too bad! I would say if the body and frame are in great shape maybe 800-1000.00. If not less than 800 for the truck

I would give you $300-$400 for it. You gotta remember that your selling the body and frame as a "project". You should keep it, find a V8 explorer at the junk yard and put that motor in it. That would be a lot cheaper than $2000 and really bad ass
