Does anyone have ideas on how to get this place going?

maybe we can sticky this it can only help to get fresh ideas and eyes on things some times. you know 5 heads are better than 1 lol

post the ideas it should be for the betterment of the forum and not the individual.
 
Off topic? it's a general discussion about the forum ? but move it if you all wish or sound off as if ok to do even
 
I think Patience is necessary, We have more members joining, some from various other ranger forums. It can take years for activity to be consistent, This forum has the potential and it has faithful members, we will get there :)
 
yea its been pretty dead, business cards would be sweet but im sure its gotta be a PITA for someone to have to do.
 
Honestly, I feel this forum is pretty good. Good responses and people actually post. I am part of an infiniti forum where there might be one post per week...if we are lucky. I had a question that I actually asked on this forum and I got replies on here whereas there is still no reply on the infiniti forum. It's goin pretty good if you ask me!
 
all i know is this forum pretty much turned into an off topic thing, theres not much about information on here anymore
 
This site has what, just over 3k members...? Generally, you are lucky to get 10% participation out of any forum. Activity will come with member increase.
 
It's up to all of us to make this place work. We really need to tone it down with the off topic posts in threads and remember why we are all here... RANGERS! Whore out the trucks, share your mods/ideas, post some how to's and ask some questions.
 
The off topic comments aren't what's causing this place to uproar with activity. Advertisement is everything and that's what we need actually we could all go to our local dealerships and have the people hand out a RangerForum.net flyer to all those who are buying rangers and let them know it's a place where you can learn and all your questions can be answered to the best of our knowledge. Advertisement advertisement
 
Free stuff! Lol. Just kidding.

The mindless chatter is what keeps me coming back to this place. If people started cracking down and stopped us from chatting about off topic stuff, I might get on here once a week instead of a few times a day. Not a threat, just sayin. I get bored and its nice to come to a place and chat with people

a nice balance of both is what keeps a forum fun and informative, We just need to keep putting ourselves out there and the members will come pouring in.
