Does anyone know how to remove the lumbar support knob on fx4 seats? I saw the recliner lever has one of the "C" clips but I'm not sure about the lumbar knob and I'd rather not find out the hard way

  3. It should just pull straight off, if I remember correctly...

ok i'll have to try that. i wasn't sure if it screwed off when it was turned counter-clockwise all the way or not and i didn't want to force anything

  5. If it doesn't come off, try unscrewing it like that. I can't imagine that it wouldn't just pull off though. Get a crowbar! Hahahaha

I believe there is a clip very similar to the recline knob......a "c-clip". Been about 3 years since I had to remove mine. I shall soon be removing mine for new covers on my '03 LII seats.
