I have seen that in the past with it being the rear window seal, check that, or silicone around it as a precaution. Also check the door seal at the base to be sure its on well

also check & clean around the 3rd brake light, they can leak too, sometimes alot.

what year is your truck? probably applies to all but a guy with a 1st gen. on another forum had a ton of water coming in under the dash and getting the pass. side floor wet. it wasnt the heater core, it was the cowl not draining. there was a piece of plastic/cardboard thing from the factory (baffel maybe) that was in between the cowl and the pass. fender that was blocking the water. something to look into maybe if you cant figure it out!

  6. Not sure if they're on 97-, but on 98+ trucks there is a little black thing underneath the fenders, just behind the tires. Check if that's got dirt in it because that drains the windshield and cowl. Mine are packed with mud and the floors get wet a lot.

it is a 93 regular cab i was also thinking the cowl its only the pass. floor that gets wet and its definatly not the heatercore

also like pete said you can clean the cowl out. there is two black covers that are about 6x6" that are high up on the firewall against the cowl area. just unscrew them and clean it out

my ’03 had the Brake Light gasket problem but luckily found it early thank to posting.
My ’88 had the problem of water around the driver’s floor, it turned out to be the windshield leaking around the lower corner.
Pulled the trim, cleaned up the rust a little, pumped in the windshield sealant and pushed in the trim… stopped the leak that is all that mattered.
