5.0 Ranger driver
Ok, I have done a lot to my truck since I got it, and Clinton has pressured me,lol so I figured I would make my very own project thread
I bought it for $2000. It had a 2.5L with a 5 speed transmission. On to the pics...
This is how it sat when I got it. I was replacing the fuel pump
I then bought another truck for the bed, stock suspension, and rims and tires
Bought a different bed, but it still sucked
Did the ohc and lighted visor mod
It had this done when I got it
Then I decided to put in a 5.0. I didn't get any pics of the 2.5L coming out. The donor was a 96 Explorer
The Grey Ranger in the background was the truck I put my old motor and tranny into. Picked it up for $200
Then came the disassembly of my truck
Custom motor mounts
Had to get the driveshaft shortened
New radiator, later swapped for a bigger one
I never got a video of it running, but it does run
I will post some more pics in a few
