I was wondering if anyone has ever installed the Blazer brand fog lights on there ranger. I picked up a set of these lights from Advanced Auto the other night and I was just wondering if anyone has had and experience with installing them. I am just going to follow the wiring diagram that came along with the lights, but I was just wondering if anyone has any hints on making the install go smoothly. Any suggestions will be helpful. One particular question I have is where people are grounding the lights out to. I noticed a ground wire on the actual light and I was wondering where people are grounding it to.

I have a set that I use for back up lights. All I did was tap into the revers light wiring and they work Im sure you could do that with your headlights

I just installed some cheapo fogs behind my grille. The groundwire on mine just went to the bolt but I was mounting it into plastic so I just used some speaker wire from it to a bolt by the hood latch which worked fine.

I don't know what your wiring diagram looks like but the one I got was wayy more complicated than it needed to be so I just ended up pulling off the connectors which went to a dash switch and wired it directly to the fuse for the high beams.

So far I haven't had any trouble and way better light! If you need more specifics I might be able to tell ya more but I hope that helps some

Just wanted to let everyone know that I installed the lights last night. They work awsome for the price. They are great little lights to accent your headlights. The best part is that you can actually use them on the street and dont have to worry about covering them up when not in use. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
