I'm installing a new glass pack on my truck. I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 4.0. I was wondering what would be a good brand of glass pack to get installed?

  3. I've got my Magnaflow. Love it. Gave the truck a nice deep tone and not too much cab drone.

What does the price range run on those. I want my kinda loud but want the deep town also. I don't want the ricer sound on my truck.

  5. You won't sound like a ricer. My entire setup, adapters clamps and turndown tip ran me $63. I believe the muffler was just about $35ish if my memory serves me well.

the size of the glass pack is what decides the sound more than the brand, almost all glass packs are the same on the inside

the longer and bigger the tube the more muffle effect you will get

Yeah, you're not gonna get ricer out of a big v6 like the 4.0.. the riceyness comes from slapping the same glasspack on a 4banger..

But yeah I have a cherrybomb on my 3.slow and it sounds good(even though there is a leak right where its clamped onto the truck  )
