Have a chance to replace my single CD player in my 2006 ranger with a single CD Player that came out of a 2009 Ranger that also plays MP3's. Ad says it will fit in an '07, '08 or '09. Will it fit in my '06?

It should fit, i had a 2000 Ranger with a single disc/tape deck in it and put a 6 disc mp3 radio from an 06-07 in, worked just fine. I would pull your radio out and take a look at the connections in the back and compare em to the 09 radio just to be sure. You can always check with the parts department at your ford dealer too.
