I am in the process of getting a 1991 Ranger for a daily beater, the price was right,(I am a MoPar man not a Ford man). This thing has a 4 cyl and I think it needs a 5.0 but I have no clue as to what it takes to do an engine swap in a Ford Ranger. Any suggestions would be helpful. I don't want to do it hamfisted and have the engine breaking loose or jumping around under the hood.

    I got it!

I know what I am going to do, screw putting a Ford engine in it, I am going to put a small block MoPar in it, it may take more doing but I will have more power and less chance of blowing up, thanks anyway y'all.
