Hope someone can help me with a vaccuum problem. From inside the vehicle, when I call for heat nothing happens. I replaced the heater control valve today and still no heat. Could the control valve inside the vehicle be the culprit? All the other vaccum operated divises seem to fuction ok The windshield defroster door, floor door, ect. it deflexs the air where I want it, but there is no change when I use the heater control knob inside. Any suggestions and could someone post a copy of how thw vaccuum line run. Thanks a million.

Thanks Holigan but that is not it. I have a 2.5 Liter 4 cyl. with 8 spark plugs. I believe Mazda made the motor and a great one at that with 245,+++ miles. Runs great and I love the 5 Speed manual tranny. I hope someone has access to a link so I can see how it all ties together. Went to a junk yard and picked the temp control that's mounted below the radio. Now it's an electical reostat yet the control valve under the hood is vaccuum operated. I just need to understand how an electical temp control operated a vaccum heater control valve. But Thanks a Million for trying to help me. Vern
