    Hi guys -
Just found a 2006 Ford 6-CD changer/MP3 player for sale locally at a good price. Can I make an assumption that this unit is a direct swap for my single CD/AM/FM unit from a 2002 Ranger? Anything major involved? (The listing shows the factory model #, if it helps). Also, I got the impression from something I read on the forums that something needs to be tweaked at the Ford dealer to allow a replacement unit to function. (Maybe I'm just imagining that.) Any advice would be appreciated before I buy another useless paperweight to sit on my workbench.unsure:

You don't use coat hangers and bailing wire? I couldn't keep my car on the road without these.

well, they just don't make hangers like they used to, you know? I actually have a radiator clamp holding my exhaust together in front of the muffler right now. It was going to be a quick fix but that was a month ago and I still havent picked up any more mig wire to fix it right..... Did I mention that my wife won't ride in my Ranger?

sense someone already has a post about the radio i might as well ask here. ive got a 01 ranger and i was wanting to replace the radio in it with something better. i went ahead and bought a fancy radio/cd/dvd/everythign else player that needs a "standard iso connection". is there an adapter that goes between the stock wire harness to a iso connector? or to i have to cut wires and splice? i tried google, but didnt come up with much.
