Yeah I agree, I would just cut them off. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 I just cut mine out and straight piped it to a 40 series flow master 3in inlet and dual 23/4in outlet with turn downs, it sounds good.

Hey guys I'm new to this forum, but I was wondering what is the best power programmer I should get for my Ranger. Its a 2001 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0 V6 with 5sp manual tranny. No mods cept for lift and bigger tires and wheels. I'll get some pics up soon.
