    I am running the 5-20 motorcraft synthetic blend. It only has about 3,000 miles on it.

    Has anyone had any problems with a pecking or ticking noise from their engine. When the engine is started it makes a pecking noise ( sounds like lifters) for about five to ten minutes until it warms up then it quiets down. My father bought his truck a few months after I did and his runs quiet.
