    It's not something Ford is going to fix. And, yes, the clutch shouldn't have to absorb 1000 to 1500 rpm on every shift. Also you've probably noticed that you have no engine braking when going down a steep grade. The worst part is that it won't cut the idle quick enough when you use the clutch...
