my ranger started making this wierd grinding noise a few weeks ago and i couldnt place where is was coming from, i originally thought it was the rear drums since i havent had to service them since i bought my truck, but i couldnt find the problem with the truck parked so i put it up on blocks...
i dont know what the difference is, not very mechanical when it comes to the rear differential. i just dont like the one tire moving at a time thing. so i want them both to turn. i think its a 4.5 rear diff?
was wondering if it was a good idea to put posi on my truck, i dont want to go 4x4 but i dont like the limited slip, it sucks on the ice. any thoughts???
