so while having no life and being up at 3am i thought up this.... if water is made of hydrogen and oxygen, and hydrogen and pure oxygen are extremely flammable...... then why is water not flammable?

hmm does the hydrogen have to be pure to be flammable as well, it might the case that since these 2 elements while potent on their own are tame together? Kind of like Jaguar and Ford, potent apart and tame together
water does not burn becuase its already burnt. Oxides are already "burnt" and therefor can not be burnt again. You cant burn fire now can you
